EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) 

 EFT is an effective, accessible technique with which built-up tension can easily be reduced so that your child, teenager or yourself will also be less bothered by the cause of the tension. This creates more peace and the unpleasant reaction that normally follows is less intense or no longer exists.

The EFT technique is a kind of brother of EMDR.


In EFT, you gently tap specific points on your face, neck, and hand (tapping) while focusing on a specific problem, a memory of an unpleasant event, a future event, or a negative emotion. This tapping, as it were, confuses your brain. This ensures that the emotional charge of the problem decreases and the associated tension decreases and often even disappears completely. EFT can be used for a variety of problems, such as:

 

  • Fears or fear of failure
  • Anger
  • Exam stress / school stress
  • Unprocessed events
  • Insecurity
  • Unhelpful thoughts and beliefs
  • Panic
  • Guilt and feelings of shame
  • Tension complaints, as well as improving how someone feels.

 

The results are fast and often very good!
